1. Consultation & Questionnaire

To begin, I will conduct a comprehensive examination of your website to determine if copywriting services would be beneficial for your business. If it is, I will provide you with a quote and estimated timeline for the project. My minimum project fee is $1,500, and the majority of my projects fall within the range of $3-5k, taking 3-4 weeks to complete. Once we have decided to proceed, I will send you a comprehensive questionnaire that will help me gain an understanding of your business, target audience, and competitors. I will review your responses, analyze your website, and research your competitors, following that, if desired, we can have an in-depth call to discuss your objectives and how new copy can best assist you in reaching your target audience.

2. Unique Value Proposition

At the start of every project, I work closely with you to develop your Unique Value Proposition (UVP). This statement summarizes what your business has to offer and it serves as the central focus of your website copy, and the foundation of my writing process. While I am more than willing to write your UVP for you, I’ve found that these statements tend to be highly personal and meaningful to business owners. That’s why I prefer to collaborate with you on developing the perfect UVP that truly represents your business or main offer. This process helps me get a better understanding of your business before proceeding to the main content of the website copy.

3. First Draft Completion

After the foundational UVP has been established, I will use it as a guide to independently craft the rest of your website’s copy. I will deliver the completed first draft to you within the agreed-upon delivery date. Delivery schedules are determined on a case-by-case basis, however, my typical turnaround time is 3-4 weeks. I usually have bookings 2-8 weeks in advance for larger projects.

4. Unlimited Revisions

I have an unblemished record of client satisfaction, and I offer an open-ended revision policy for a period of four weeks after the initial draft is submitted, as long as there are no significant changes to the requested direction of the copy. When you work with me, my primary objective is not to receive payment, but to produce results that will help you achieve your goals. That being said, you can expect me to speak candidly and push back if I believe that certain requests may not result in the most effective and converting website copy possible. However, it’s important to note that, ultimately, YOU are the client, and you have the final say. I take great pride in creating copy that not only converts, but also makes you excited about your website.
